D.O. More Southern Tier was founded in 2021 by passionate medical students dedicated to improving the health and well-being of their local community. Since its inception, the Southern Tier chapter has launched seven successful initiatives that promote service, compassion, and connection with those most in need.
 

Most recently, the chapter held a fundraiser that raised $1,475 and assembled 500 hygiene kits for distribution at the local Health Expo and the Transformation Center. Each hygiene kit was thoughtfully filled with essential items such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shampoo, soap, feminine products, deodorant, floss, and more — helping individuals and families access basic necessities that support dignity and well-being.
 

We are incredibly proud of the ongoing work the Southern Tier team has accomplished and the meaningful impact they continue to make in their community.
