Organization: DO More Southern Tier - St. John's Community Center

D.O. More Southern Tier is a non-profit organization started by osteopathic medical students. This chapter raised money and collected donations through social media to provide 171 “Blessing’s in a Bag” which included hygiene/toiletry products and other necessities for the homeless shelter at St. John's Community Center in Ithaca, NY on May 2021. This was the first community outreach project completed by our chapter. The organization plans to continue its mission in helping the underserved community. Through D.O. More’s donations and support from local companies like Wegman and Weis Markets, we were able to positively impact our community. We hope to help the Elmira community next and thank everyone for their ongoing and generous support!
