Organization: Philabundance, Center for Hope

D.O. More Philadelphia has continued to launch multiple fundraisers of the years with D.O. More. Local medical students partnered with Philabundance first, a non-profit food bank serving Philly and Delaware valley region. The provided nutritious meals to their community. Together with generous donations, we "beet" hunger by providing $1,200 in monetary donations.

Next, D.O. More Philadelphia worked with the nonprofit "Center for Hope." Their organization works with 66,000 local Philadelphians to support them with shelter and basic necessities. Their goal was to raise $2,000 to create Blessings in a Bag for their clients. They provided necessities such as socks, deodorant, shampoo, body wash, lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste, hair combs, sanitary napkins, and bags. The chapter held a bake sale, received itemized donations from a local dentistry office, and monetarily surpassed their goal by raising $2,559.82! We look forward to D.O. More Philadelphia's continued success in giving back to the local community.
