Organization: Downtown Orlando and The Orlando Union Rescue Mission

D.O. More Orlando was our first established chapter of the organization. Our founder and president, Cody Barbari, along with one of our co-founders, Chloe Textor, began a marketing campaign to raise $450 by Christmas Day. We knew we were on to something! These funds were used to purchase and make 37 hot and fresh meals for our neighbors in Downtown Orlando. In our upcoming 2nd chapter fundraiser, we will be partnering with “The Orlando Union Rescue Mission,” one of Central Florida’s oldest and largest homeless service providers. Not only does this shelter provide for immediate needs, but they also lead the homeless to permanent independence built upon a personal relationship with Christ. We are excited for our future endeavors to give back in the great city of Orlando.
