Organization: Hands for Homeless
D.O. More Sebring was founded by local medical students who partnered with Hands for Homeless, who organizes fundraisers, community-building events, and in-depth training sessions for volunteers in Sebring, FL. Hands for Homeless is guided by their mission to "Follow Jesus' example to feed the homeless and the hungry by providing basic services and sharing Christ's love; igniting hope in their future." Since their founding, Hands for Homeless has supplied basic necessities and fed thousands of their clients over the years. D.O. More's 2nd ever fundraiser was in Sebring-Avon Park and raised $450 and donated 50 bags filled with essential items for the underserved. For our second fundraiser with Hands for Homeless, we partnered with AdventHealth Sebring and raised $2,000 in donations. We purchased 100 heavy-duty backpacks, fifty 3-person tents, reusable ponchos, toiletries, non-perishable foods, and more to help those in need. Thank you for your generous donations!
